Everything happens at once

This last week has been really hectic (but in a good way). It started out with last week-end, when I went to Arcon. It is a roleplaying festival, where you basically spend an entire week-end playing all kinds of games (RPGs, boardgames, cardgames and miniatures). For the most part, I roleplayed different games. For those of you who don't know what roleplaying is, it is a kind of free-form theatre. (That's a REALLY short description, but what you really need to know, is that it is really fun :) ). So I had a lot of fun, but it was also exhausting to stay up all night, and then get up (relatively) early the next morning to play some more.

Monday was the only day I had to rest from that week-end, because on Tuesday my parents arrived. They came to Oslo to celebrate my birthday, which was on Wednesday. We had a wonderful celebration that evening, with my family and some of Marius's family, and lots and lots of presents! :) It was a scarey birthday for me (going from my twenties to my thirties, so let's not talk about that), but it was a very nice celebration nonetheless. :)

My parents stayed until Thursday, and right after they left, I skipped town myself. This weekend was spent with even more roleplaying at my boyfriend's father's cabin. (Most of) my regular roleplaying group was there, and even though we did go for a walk the first day, most of the time was spent just relaxing and roleplaying. It was a blast! :)

So, now I'm back to my normal routine again. It was hard to come back to work (I took three days off last week), but in two weeks I'm going on vacation again, so I'm looking forward to that.

Oh, and one exciting thing happened today: My professor told me that an international company is interested in my master's thesis! I'm wondering what they want, hope he forwards the mail soon!
