This is one of my favorite bookseries ever. It consists of 47 (!!!) books, but that hasn't stopped me from reading it several times. She is known as the queen of romance literature in Norway, mainly because of this series.
It is being translated to English as we speak (the title of the series is "The legend of the Ice People", and the three first books are already published and available from Amazon:
Spellbound
Witch hunt
Depths of darkness
The opinions of these books are mixed. Either people love them, or they really hate them. I would recommend everyone to at least give them a try. They are not for everyone, but if you DO like them, you'll not be able to put them down.
So, anyways, like I said, we were going to see the play based on the first three books. The play was in Valdres, which is in the middle of Norway. So my sister and I came from Oslo (3 hours by buss), and my parents came from Bergen (7 hours by buss), and we me up to see the play.
My sister, mother and I have all read the books several times, and love them. My dad, on the other hand, has always been very skeptical about these books. It wasn't until he decided to review the play that he tried reading them. He was actually pleasantly surprised by them. :)
Because I love the books, I was afraid that I might hate what the play had made out of them. But I absolutely loved the play, it was a good show, and I would highly recommend it. You can read all about it on the official site. As an added bonus, being the premiere, the author showed up and we were able to talk to her and get her autograph. Here is a picture of the author along with some of the cast:

But the play was not the only exciting thing that happened that weekend. We bought a car as well! It wasn't black, but it WAS a good buy regardless! :)
So the past week has been spent trying to learn how to drive again, and spending some time with my friends. I also had my l last day at my current job on Friday. Now I have two weeks of vacation before starting a new job. I'm really exciting about that! :)
The last week has been quite hectic, and now I'm looking forward to a couple of relaxing days in Bergen. It is going to be great to visit with my friends and family. :)
